Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

BotDaddy is desktop automation software for Viking Rise, built and operated by an individual developer based in India. For the purposes of data-protection law we are the data controller for the information described below, and our full trader identity and contact address are available on request by emailing the address at the end of this policy. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and what we do not collect. We collect the minimum necessary to license and support the application. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Data we collect

We operate a license server that the desktop application contacts to activate and periodically re-validate your license. It receives and stores:

  • Email address — used to issue your license, send your license key, and handle support correspondence.
  • License record — your plan, status, expiry date, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your license key. We never store the key itself in a readable form, which is why we cannot show it to you again after it is issued.
  • Device fingerprint — an irreversible SHA-256 hash derived from your Windows MachineGuid, network adapter address, and computer name. We store only the hash, never the underlying values. It exists solely to enforce the one-device-per-license term and cannot be used to identify you outside that purpose.
  • Activation timestamps — when your license was activated and last seen, so we can support device transfers.

Data we do not collect

  • Your game credentials. If you use the credentials action, your IGG ID and password are stored in a configuration file on your own computer, under your Documents folder. They are sent only to the game itself during login. They are never transmitted to us and we have no way to read them.
  • Your activity logs. Bot run logs, screenshots, and account data stay on your machine. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Analytics or telemetry. The application contains no analytics, crash reporting, usage tracking, or advertising SDKs. This website runs no analytics scripts and sets no tracking cookies.

Payment data

Purchases are processed by PayPal. Your card or bank details are entered on PayPal’s systems and are never seen, transmitted, or stored by us. From a completed purchase we receive your name, the email address on your PayPal account, the plan purchased, and a transaction and subscription reference — which is what lets us issue your licence key and support you afterwards. PayPal’s handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.

Why we are allowed to hold this data

We process your email address and license record because it is necessary to perform the contract you entered into when purchasing a license. We process the device fingerprint on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing license sharing, using an irreversible hash so the impact on your privacy is minimal.

How long we keep it

License and activation records are retained for as long as your license is active, and for up to two years afterwards so we can honour support requests, reinstatements, and refund disputes. Transaction records may be retained longer where tax law requires it. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting your data cancels any active license, since the license record is the data. To make a request, email support@botdaddy.app. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Where your data is held

Our license server is hosted with Fly.io and this website is hosted with Vercel; both operate infrastructure outside India, and payment data is processed by PayPal across its own international infrastructure. If you are located in the EU or UK, this means your data may be transferred outside your country. We rely on the standard contractual protections offered by these providers for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or why, we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of BotDaddy after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
