Automating alliance construction in Viking Rise
An alliance building goes up because thirty people each sent one march. Getting thirty people to do that on the same building, at the same time, is the hard part — and it's the part a bookmark plus this action solves.
This guide assumes you've completed Viking Rise bot setup.
Check the mode before you leave it. Build mode works as soon as you turn the action on. Reinforce mode does nothing until you name a target — a bookmark or a coordinate.
Two modes, and you pick one
The first setting, What this action does, chooses between them. They're genuinely different jobs, which is why you can't have both at once.

Build
The bot chooses the target. It reads your alliance's building list, finds everything still under construction, and sends troops to whichever is closest to finished.
That ordering is deliberate. A flag sitting just short of done is one march from standing; one barely started needs half the alliance. Finishing something is worth more than making a little progress on everything.
Reinforce
You choose the target and the bot never picks one for you — by the bookmark your officers placed on it, or by typing coordinates.
Naming a target in Reinforce mode
By bookmark is the usual way. The dropdown lists every bookmark icon the game lets a player place — Battle, Clover, Horn, Star, Defense, Moon, Sun, Raindrop, Flower, Snowflake, the numbers 0 to 10, and your three personal markers (Hostile, Special, Friendly). Same icons, same names as the game's own MAP BOOKMARK window.
The idea is the one most alliances already use: an officer drops a distinct icon on the building the alliance is working, and everyone points their bot at that icon. When the officer moves the mark, every bot follows — nobody changes a setting. The whole list is always available whether or not that icon is currently placed, so you can set an account up before anything is marked.
By coordinates — leave the dropdown on "Use the coordinates below" and type
the tile. It's forgiving about format: 830,762, 830, 762, (830, 762) and
X:830 Y:762 all work. The bookmark wins if you pick one, so the two can never
disagree.
Marches per pass
The default is 1. Before raising it, read Marches are shared below.
A building under construction only ever accepts one march from you — the game's rule, not ours. So in Build mode this number is really "how many different buildings", and in Reinforce mode a target still being built takes one march whatever you set. A finished building you're garrisoning has no such limit.
Which buildings Build mode may pick
Include tribe flags / fortresses / tribe mines — all three on by default, and they only appear in Build mode.
Turning all three off does not mean "do nothing" — it means "all of them". An action that silently did nothing the first time you switched it on is the one thing you could never work out from the activity feed.
Which saved marches to send
Three choices, and none of them asks you to name a preset:
- Automatic (weakest marches first) — the default.
- Automatic (strongest marches first).
- Leave as is — send whatever the squad screen already had.
The bot works out how strong each saved march is from its two commanders and sends them in the order you chose. Weakest is the default because troops sitting in an alliance building are a garrison — your best commanders are usually better kept free for rallies.
Why you don't name a preset here. This action can send several marches in one pass, and one named preset can't say what should happen on the second and third. A direction covers any number of marches instead. (Auto Rally does let you name an exact preset, because a rally is a single march.)
Sending several marches doesn't send the same squad twice. Loading a preset takes its Main Commander out of your city, so the next march finds that preset unavailable and moves down the order.
Marches are shared
A march slot belongs to your account, not to this action. Gathering, rallies, the Staging Post and tribe mines all draw on the same few slots.
That's why the default is one march per pass. Set it higher and this action can use every free slot, leaving nothing for whatever is scheduled after it. If you want an account dedicated to helping the alliance, raise it; otherwise one at a time is usually right.
Troubleshooting
Nothing happens at all. Three likely reasons, all shown in the activity feed: you're not in an alliance, your alliance has placed no buildings, or you're in Reinforce mode with no target chosen.
It says no bookmark is placed. The icon you picked isn't on the map. Ask an officer to mark the building, or type coordinates instead.
It says nothing stands there. A bookmark marks a point; whatever is on that point gets the troops. That one is on open ground.
A saved march wouldn't load. Its Main Commander is already out, or the slot is empty. The bot moves down the order — and if none will load, the march still goes with whatever squad the screen had. Getting troops to the building is the point.
I asked for 5 marches and it sent 2. Only two buildings needed work. The number is a ceiling, not a quota.
The building finished while my march was flying. It arrives anyway and garrisons instead. You don't need to switch modes as a building progresses.
