Automating the Dragon Cave in Viking Rise
A smelt runs for hours and then sits there finished until someone collects it. The gap between "done" and "collected" is pure waste, and on a farm it's the normal state of every cave you own.
This guide assumes you've completed Viking Rise bot setup.
Turning it on is not enough. Tick the material categories. With none ticked the bot has nothing it's allowed to load, and does nothing.
What the action does
The cave sits in your village, not your city. The bot flies there, goes in, fills the slots and comes back out on its own — you never have to leave an account parked on the village map.
One pass collects a finished smelt if there is one, then fills the slots again. Most passes do nothing at all, because a full load takes hours — and that's cheap, because the bot can tell a smelt is already running without opening the cave.
This action only does smelting. Converting is a different Dragon Cave feature with its own timer and its own collect button, and it isn't touched.
Setting it up

Tick the categories of material you're happy to spend:
- Crafting materials (Wood Block, Rope, Linen…)
- Resource chests (Food, Lumber, Stone, Gold)
- Speedups
- Hero XP and shards
- Monster materials (War Horn, Thorny Spike…)
- Mount XP and trap points
Inside a ticked category the bot spends whatever you own the most of first, and always leaves some of every stack behind. It can't empty a stack on you.
Use two copies on a schedule
This is the normal way to run it: one copy in the morning starts a load, one in the evening collects it and starts the next. Add copies of the action and give each its own schedule.
A pass that finds a smelt still running ends immediately and costs almost nothing, so extra copies are cheap.
Troubleshooting
Nothing ever happens. Either no category is ticked, or you own nothing in the ones you ticked, or a smelt is already running. All three end the pass cheaply.
It says the account hasn't unlocked the cave. The bot checks before doing anything else and skips that account in well under a second, quietly. You can safely leave the action switched on for every account — it costs nothing on the ones that can't use it yet, and the moment an account unlocks its cave the very next pass starts using it. Nothing needs resetting.
The cave exists but is locked behind a quest. Different situation, handled separately: the game says so out loud, and the bot reads that message and leaves the account's cave alone rather than trying again.
It says the slots weren't ready. The pass collects anything finished and stops there rather than trying to load them. That's deliberate — loading an unready page used to take the game down — so nothing is lost, your rewards are still collected, and the next pass tries again from scratch.
I ticked a new category mid-load. Nothing changes until the current smelt finishes. The next load uses your new selection.
I have two characters on one emulator. Each is handled separately, and switching characters clears everything the bot remembered about the previous one's village.
