Repairing the city wall automatically in Viking Rise

The wall repair is free, and it's on a cooldown. Those two facts together mean the only thing standing between you and a full wall is somebody remembering to press the button every half hour — which is exactly the kind of job worth handing over.

This guide assumes you've completed Viking Rise bot setup.

Nothing to set up — turning it on is enough.

What the action does

One pass checks your wall and repairs it if the game will allow it. No screen is opened and nothing is tapped, so it works from anywhere — the city, the world map, or from under a full-screen page.

The Repair Wall action in the action list, with an on/off toggle and no configuration
A single toggle. The repair is free, so there is nothing to budget.

Why there are no settings

The repair costs nothing, the amount restored is the game's to decide, and the one real question — may we repair yet — is answered by the game's own gate. A "repair below N%" threshold could only ever stop a free repair from happening.

The cooldown is why you clone it

The game puts a cooldown between repairs, and each one restores part of the bar rather than all of it. A badly holed wall therefore needs several passes.

That's what the action being cloneable is for: add a few copies with schedules spread across your cycle and the wall gets worked back up over time. A pass that lands on the cooldown is a clean no-op, not a failure, so extra copies cost you nothing.

Troubleshooting

It never seems to do anything. Most passes land on the cooldown, which is normal and cheap. It's also possible your wall is simply full.

My wall is burning. The bot reads and reports that, but doesn't act on it. Putting the fire out is a separate game action with a real cost, and it isn't automated here.

It only restored part of the bar. That's how repairs work. Clone the action and schedule the copies.

I want the wall upgraded, not repaired. Add Walls to Upgrade Building.
