Automating Smithy conquest quests in Viking Rise

Conquest Quests spawn their monsters right beside your city, which makes them one of the cheapest sources of combat rewards in the game — short marches, no travel, no scouting. They're also six taps a day you'll forget.

This guide assumes you've completed Viking Rise bot setup.

This one works the moment you turn it on. It takes whatever is on the board unless you set a star floor.

What the action does

The board holds six tasks, each naming a monster with a star grade. Working a task spawns that monster onto the world map beside your city and sends a march at it.

One pass claims anything already finished, then picks a task, spawns it and marches. Claiming the reward is what advances your daily count — not the kill — which is why the bot claims first in every pass.

Setting it up

The Smithy action settings, showing the Minimum stars dropdown and the Ignore Special monsters checkbox
A star floor and one opt-out. Both can be left alone.

Minimum stars is a floor, not a preference — anything below it is left on the board. Options are Any, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Any, which is the default, takes whatever is there, and that's reasonable: every task on the board is workable.

If the whole board is below your floor, the bot spends the free daily refresh to reroll it and looks again. That's exactly what the free refresh is for.

Ignore Special monsters is an opt-out. Specials are the gold-framed, red-starred ones, and by default they're taken ahead of everything else — including ahead of your star floor, because the game places Specials at every grade from 1 to 5 and a Special 1-star is still a better pick than an ordinary 5-star. Tick this box if you'd rather the star floor decided everything.

The daily allowance and refreshes

The refresh budget is the game's own counter, read fresh every pass. So several passes a day are correct with nothing remembered on the bot's side, and a refresh you did by hand is already accounted for.

Paid refreshes cost gems and this action never spends them. The game's refresh button charges gems once the free one is gone and can't be told "free only", so the bot simply stops refreshing at that point.

Troubleshooting

Nothing is worked. Either your daily allowance is spent, or the whole board is below your star floor and the free refresh is already gone. Both are clean skips.

No march goes out. No free march slots. They're shared with gathering, rallies and the Staging Post.

I set Minimum stars to 5 and most passes do nothing. That's the floor working. Expect fewer tasks worked per day.

A monster from an earlier pass is still being fought. Its reward is claimed when the march resolves — the bot claims at the start of each pass.

Should I run it more than once a day? Yes. Marches take real time, so one pass rarely spends the whole daily allowance. Clone the action and schedule the copies.
